The person of Christ has a very unique state. The fact is, there in only one person in the world who has a nature like Jesus Christ, that is Himself.
If we want to summarize the state of Jesus Christ’s personality, Wayne Grudem may say like this: “Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man in one person, and will be so forever.” Wayne Grudem is right. I think this is a complete but simple true statement about Jesus.
How could a man is said to be God in His fully nature? Or the other way around, how could the Almighty God be a fully man? And the hardest part about it is that all those nature remain in one single person, Jesus Christ.
To say that this belief is wrong maybe is not as easy as we think, as the supporting material taken up from the Bible about the person of Jesus Christ are so many, if not saying too convincing.
As we all know, the Bible is our foundation of believing such nature of Jesus’ personality. Outside the Bible we do not have any other literature which explain about the unique nature of Jesus Christ.
The person of Jesus may have mentioned in other literature outside the New Testament. For example, Josephus a Jewish historian who worked for Roman Empire has mentioned about Jesus in his works. However, there in only Bible which mentioned Jesus completed with His unique nature.
